The Bac Giang waste-to- energy plant project in Da Mai ward is investment by Bac Giang Environmental Power Company Limited. The plant is expected to incinerate 750 tonnes of waste per day and night (using modern technology to incinerate unclassified waste to generate energy).

According to the investor, the plant signed contracts to purchase the all main equipment including an incinerator, turbine, generator, air purifier and water treatment system.

The investor committed to mobilizing resources to complete and bring the plant into operation since the first quarter of 2027.

At the meeting, the representatives of the investor and provincial departments and agencies discussed and clarified relating obstacles.

In his conclusion, PPC Vice Chairman Dao Quang Khai evaluated the feasibility of the project with modern technology and close circular chain, which ensures environmental hygiene.

He urged the departments and agencies to collaborate with Da Mai ward to bring the project into operation on schedule.
