Updated: 14:41, 22/09/2025

BAC NINH - On the occasion of the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival, the provincial Department of Health in coordination with other departments of Bac Ninh province visited and awarded regular scholarships to four disadvantaged children.

The recipients included Ngo Van Long from Loi Chau hamlet; Le Bao Chau from Cap Trai hamlet, Trung Kenh commune; Nguyen Anh Tho from Dao Su hamlet, Luong Tai commune; and Ngo Thi Hai from Tuyen Ba hamlet, Lam Thao commune.

Leaders of the provincial Department of Health present scholarship to Ngo Van Long.

During the visits, leaders from the Department of Health and the Department of Education and Training inquired about the children’s living conditions, shared in their difficulties and encouraged them to strive for self-improvement and become good citizens contributing to their families and communities.

As part of the programme, 50 children in particularly difficult circumstances across Bac Ninh were awarded scholarships worth 12 million VND each by the provincial Children’s Protection Fund. The initiative reflects the province’s commitment to supporting vulnerable groups and promoting equal opportunities for education.

At the same time, the trade unions of two companies—Crystal Martin Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Crystal Intimate Vietnam Co., Ltd., located in Quang Chau Industrial Park—organized a large-scale gift distribution for over 10,400 union members and workers.

Each recipient received a Mid-Autumn Festival gift box with mooncakes, with the total value exceeding 2.3 billion VND, funded from union activity resources.

These activities underscored the province’s tradition of care and solidarity during festive occasions. By combining government efforts with corporate contributions, Bac Ninh created a more meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival for both disadvantaged children and thousands of industrial workers, reinforcing the province’s focus on social welfare alongside economic development.
