The project, developed by Fuji Phuc Long Development Co Ltd, covers more than 147 hectares in Nenh and Viet Yen wards and is among projects launched to mark Bac Ninh's establishment as a centrally governed city.

The developer has completed compensation payments for about 95% of the planned area and aims to complete site clearance by the end of 2026. Infrastructure construction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.

Key facilities, including a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 6,000 cubic metres per day, a 110 kV substation and a water supply system, have been completed and are ready to serve both phases of the project.

The expanded industrial park will prioritise high-tech and advanced industries and pursue a green and sustainable development model.

The first phase, covering 50 hectares, has attracted seven secondary projects, including five foreign-invested projects and two domestic projects, which are already operational.

Mai Son, Standing Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh provincial People's Committee, called for the developer to mobilise sufficient financial, technical and human resources to ensure construction quality, safety and progress while complying with regulations on land, construction and environmental protection.

He also urged the developer and local authorities to support workers affected by land acquisition through recruitment, vocational training and job transition programmes, while studying housing and social facilities for workers.

The province said industrial development should be accompanied by social welfare and improved living conditions, as it continues to expand infrastructure and attract investment in the new phase of its development.
