This was a practical activity in response to Workers' Month 2024 which affirmed due attention of provincial leaders, all levels and sectors to trade union, its members and workers.

At the conference, many recommended the Provincial People's Committee and competent agencies to strengthen state management, check and inspect the implementation of legal regulations on labor by enterprises; have measures and sanctions to strictly handle violated cases to ensure the legal and legitimate rights and interests of employees; enhance inspection and supervision of enterprises' implementation of regulations on periodic health checks for employees, improvement of working conditions and providing labor protection equipment among others.

Based on the analysis of current legal documents, the PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong and representatives of leaders of relevant departments and sectors and the Provincial Confederation of Labour answered most of the delegates' recommendations.

National dialogue on labour safety to be held in April

An Action month for labour safety and hygiene in 2024 will be launched together with a Workers’ month in late April. One of the outstanding activities of the Action month will be a dialogue session of the National Council for Labour Safety and Hygiene, with the participation of many agencies.
