According to the rankings on the Electronic Portal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Bac Giang currently ranks 9th in the country and continues to maintain the 1st position in the Northern midlands and mountainous region in terms of foreign investment attraction in the first 8 months of 2024.

In general, enterprises in the province have recovered steadily after the pandemic and maintained the production and business. The industrial production index (IIP) in the past 8 months increased by 27.59% over the same period...

At the conference, representatives of a number of enterprises raised difficulties and problems. They proposed the State to have solutions for handling them, such as difficulties due to administrative procedures in some areas with many regulations that are not suitable for reality; the implementation time of urban and residential area projects (currently about 2-4 years) is short, not favorable for enterprises and investors; the land recovery, compensation and site clearance... still face many difficulties.

Then, the enterprises requested the DOPI, specialized agencies and the province to pay attention to simplifying related administrative procedures, minimizing time for enterprises; supporting exemption and reduction of land rent, providing low-interest loans and promptly implementing the provisions of the Land Law among others.

The representative of the DOPI answered many contents and also directed the professional unit to guide and answer in detail the opinions and proposals within their authority.

For opinions and proposals beyond their authority, the DOPI’s leaders fully synthesized them to propose and recommend to the provincial leaders and departments and branches for consideration and resolution.

Regarding the policies and contents within the authority of Central ministries, sectors and the Central Government, the DOPI reported and requested the province to propose early for guidance and resolution.

In addition to the dialogue, the Department also receives opinions and feedback from businesses through channels such as: hotline, email, zalo... The DOPI’s leaders commit to clear the questions and recommendations within 5 working days at the latest, from the date of receiving opinions through the above information channels.
