During the meeting, the college was elected Vice President of the China-ASEAN Alliance for High-end Vocational Education Equipment. The alliance aims to strengthen cross-border collaboration in vocational training, promote resource sharing and advance joint projects in high-end equipment and component manufacturing across Southeast Asia and China.
Speaking at the forum, Phuong delivered a presentation on “Key challenges and solutions in applying artificial intelligence in training at Bac Ninh Industrial Technical College and other vocational institutions in Vietnam.”
She highlighted difficulties in adapting curricula, upgrading digital infrastructure, and equipping teaching staff with AI-related skills, while calling for greater partnerships with industry and international institutions.
With a strong commitment to student development, the college has emphasized a people-centered approach in recent years, aligning training quality with the evolving needs of the labor market. Since 2023, it has sent more than 300 students to China for advanced study and skill enhancement under exchange programs.
Looking ahead, from the 2025-2026 academic year, the college will integrate new subjects into its training programmes, covering AI applications, digital transformation, productivity and quality management, semiconductor technology, and information technology.
These initiatives are expected to expand opportunities for students to participate in domestic and international training through collaborations with enterprises and overseas partners.
