The facility is equipped with modern machines including alcohol fermentation and mixing systems, vinegar production units, dual-membrane filtration devices, pneumatic liquid filling machines, as well as spray drying and dehydration equipment.
The university said the new laboratory will support research and product development using Bac Giang’s abundant agricultural resources. It is expected to help lecturers and students access advanced technology, strengthen self-study and independent research capacity, and develop new processed products. The facility is also seen as an important step in training high-quality human resources for Vietnam’s agricultural sector.
BAFU and Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences have been cooperating since 2016 in training and technology transfer in the field of agricultural preservation, processing and production.
The collaboration has already delivered tangible results, including the expansion of high-quality seedling models such as the Ha Den grape variety, which has improved the quality of agricultural products in the province.
