Livestock firm Dabaco eyes biggest-ever revenues in 2023

Despite failing to realize the revenue target for last year, food and animal feed producer Dabaco Group is expecting biggest-ever revenues of VND24.562 trillion ($1.023 billion) for this year.

Dabaco targeted revenues of VND22.5 trillion and after-tax profits of VND918 billion last year, but earned just over VND9.6 trillion, with after-tax profits of roughly VND230 billion in the first nine months of the year.

Late last month, SSI Securities Corporation predicted Dabaco’s revenues would be VND12 trillion in 2022.

The company plans to reap profits of some VND569 billion in 2023. Profits for last year are estimated at more than VND320 billion.

Dabaco, which has yet to announce its business results for the fourth quarter of last year, said it will continue to focus on its core businesses: agriculture and food with high technology applications in accordance with the closed chain of 3F (Feed - Farm - Food) this year.
