Opportunities to expand production
In recent half a month, Nguyen Thi Lam in Xuan Phu village has been busy because her family is rebuilding a wine production facility. Since she received the district Economic and Infrastructure Division’s guidance and was elected as Director of the Nui Huyen traditional rice wine cooperative, Lam has become more confident in her craft.
Therefore, her family bravely invested in expanding the old kitchen to increase the production area. Previously, she only produced about 30 liters of wine per day, which is expected to increase three to four times. Lam said that the cooperative’s management board and members agreed to focus on raising quality, expanding production scale and ensure product standards.

In June 2018, the Luc Nam cha gia tay (man-made sausage made of pork) cooperative was established. The sausage has become a brand of the region. Being recognized as a specialty product of Luc Nam with its trademark registered for protection is an opportunity for members of the cooperative to expand production and consumption markets, increase incomes, and keep the traditional craft.
Success from determination
To promote and increase the value of crafts and key products in the locality, right from the beginning of the year, the People's Committee of Luc Nam district has asked leaders of the People’s Committees of communes and townships, agencies and units to register and carry out the key tasks in the year in line with the fields of their charge.
