The newly recognised OCOP products have strong potential and advantages for expanding production scale to become signature and key products of localities and the province. Product owners have invested in packaging design, traceability systems, quality certification dossiers and the development of product stories.

Among the newly recognised products, noni tea bags, concentrated noni extract and dried noni fruit produced by Han Thi Trading and Services Cooperative in Trung Kenh commune are awarded three-star OCOP status.

Under regulations, OCOP certificates are valid for 36 months, during which products are allowed to use the OCOP logo with the corresponding star rating on their packaging and labels.

The 2025 OCOP recognition underscores the effectiveness of the OCOP programme in the province, contributing to higher added value, supply chain-based production and renewed momentum for sustainable rural economic development.

This is the first round of OCOP product recognition following the reorganisation of provincial-level administrative units.

As of January 2026, the province has a total of 782 OCOP products rated three stars or higher, including one five-star product and 80 four-star products, with the remainder rated three stars.

This places Bac Ninh among the leading localities nationwide in terms of the number of OCOP products.
