Luc Nam district has favorable natural conditions for goods circulation with two national highways 37 and 31 along with river and railway routes. In the near future, Luc Nam will have Ring Road 5 (Hanoi) running through to connect with many key economic regions of the country such as Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong and Hanoi Capital.

To fully tap the potential advantages and serve the local socio-economic development, the District Party Committee and People's Committee have paid attention to leading and directing the task of investment attraction.

The general motto is not to abandon investors or assign whole to some competent agencies but to mobilize the entire political system to participate and accompany investors right from the time they enter the area to the project execution stage.

The Deputy Head of the District Finance and Planning Department Nguyen Dan Vinh said that as soon as the investors show demand to seek opportunities and survey locations to implement projects in the district, local authority will create all favorable conditions, arrange professional staff to introduce and advise so as to help them have sufficient information about the advantages and difficulties when implementing projects in the area.

When the project is approved for investment by the province, the district continues to focus on site clearance in order to allocate and lease clear land to the investors as soon as possible.

For large projects, the District People's Committee establishes a site clearance steering committee, assigns responsibilities to each member of the Standing Board of the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee who is in charge of specific project with weekly progress review in associated with emulation and year-end assessment.

Not only accompanying investors, the District Party Committee and People's Committee also focus on directing all levels of government and functional agencies to well implement administrative procedure reform and enhance responsibilities to carrying out public duties. This is one of the 5 key tasks, throughout the 2020-2025 term of the District Party Committee which is implemented by the entire political system with positive results.

The district ranked third in the province in term of handling administrative procedures on the public service portal in 2023 with 99.03 percent of documents processed and handled ahead of time and on time.

Meanwhile, 93.12 percent of administrative procedures were resolved through online public services in full and a part, ranking 4th in the province. Thanks to that, many administrative procedures are reduced with shortened time, helping create favorable conditions for people and businesses when carrying out administrative procedures.

The Bac Giang golf course and resort project (in three communes of Chu Dien, Kham Lang, Yen Son of Luc Nam district) is being urgently constructed.

The serving attitude of local officials, civil servants and public employees are more dedicated and thoughtful. 6 communes and towns are recognized as meeting "friendly government" standards.

With the above positive measures, since 2020, the entire district has attracted 24 large projects with a total registered capital of up to trillions of VND, including some typical projects such as An Khanh Thermal Power Plant, Lan Son Industrial Park 1, 2, Kham Lang Industrial Park, Tien Hung industrial cluster, Bac Giang golf course and resort among others.

In addition, hundreds of small projects in the fields of trade, services, production and business have been implemented in the district, thereby, boosting the district's socio-economic development and improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

In 2023, the district's production value growth rate reached over 16.2 percent, higher than the province's average. This is one of the important conditions helping Luc Nam district to be recognized by the Prime Minister as new style rural district.
