Luc Ngan welcomes nearly 220,000 tourist arrivals in lychee season
Luc Ngan lychee season started in the middle of May 2023 and will last till July 15. Recently, nearly 220,000 turns of visitors have arrived at the district, nearly doubling last year number, many of whom came from Republic of Korea, Australia, Japan and China.

To gain this result, the district People’s Committee had creative method in promotion. This year, the district first ever organized gameshow at Bau Tien tourism site of Dong Dao Tourism Cooperative in Quy Son commune to promote lychee consumption. The participants competed to harvest and bundle lychee with artist Xuan Bac as the MC of the show.
The event was livestreamed on many fanpages of social network and attracted thousands of domestic and foreign audiences.
Or a large scale fashion show was first ever held in lychee garden in Giap Son commune by Phuc Lam Trading and Service Company Limited in Hanoi and Giap Son Agricultural and Ecotourism Cooperative.
The stage, the catwalk, the space, the materials and the colors of the costumes were all inspired by lychee, the culture and people of Luc Ngan. The program attracted a large number of models, singers, domestic and foreign tourists.
Recently, about 70 content creators on the social networking platform TikTok came to Luc Ngan district and conducted a livestream program to promote and sell lychee which attracted millions of followers. Previously, earlier in April 2023, the Vietnam Book of Records Center announced 9 Vietnamese dishes that set an Asian record in line with Asian culinary value criteria, including Luc Ngan lychee. This helped lure more visitors to the district.

In addition, many community tourism cooperatives launched contests and experiences for visitors at the garden; invested in new models and miniatures; created new products from lychee such as lychee bread, lychee sticky rice, lychee tea to introduce to visitors while promoting unique culture of ethnic minorities.
The district enhanced promotion on the media, social networks and coordinated with travel agents inside and outside the province to bring visitors to the area. Reception work, serving guests of many community tourism cooperatives have become more and more professional.
Besides the communes with beautiful lychee gardens selected and introduced by the district, other tourist destinations attracted many visitors such as Cam Son lake, Khuon Than lake, Am Vai pagoda, Northeast Cultural Village, Bac Hoa village...
