Many key civil projects under quick construction and disbursement
BAC GIANG - Bac Giang province is implementing a number of key civil works with huge investment capital. Currently, the constructors are concentrating on construction to ensure the projects are on schedule and exceed the progress while the investor is quickly disbursing the investment capital.
The provincial Management Board for Civil and Industrial Construction Investment projects was assigned as the investor of 17 projects in 2024. The total investment fund in 2024 is estimated at some 1.15 trillion VND (45.18 million USD) including over 1 trillion VND (some 39.3 million USD) of newly allocated fund for 2024 and the rest sum from 2023.

Currently, all of the projects are under construction meeting or exceeding the schedule, particularly the construction projects of the provincial Culture and Exhibition Center and the new inter-agency building of Bac Giang province.
The Culture and Exhibition Center of Bac Giang province has a total floor area of over 13,200 square metre commenced on 24 December 2022, which will be implemented in 570 days and expected to complete in August 2024.
The budget plan allocated for the project is 460.4 billion VND (18.08 million USD) while the disbursement value has reached some 212.4 billion VND (8.3 million USD), equivalent to 46.1 percent.
The construction project of the new inter-agency building of Bac Giang province covers an area of about 1,740 square metre with about 40,500 square metre of floor area (including 22 storeys, 2 basements and some other auxiliary items).
This project was commenced on 16 June 2023, which will be implemented in 685 days and expected to come into use in April 2025. The funding plan for the project is 594.8 billion VND (23.37 million USD) with the disbursement value reaching over 259.8 billion VND (10.2 million USD) since commencing the project, equivalent to 43.7 percent.

According to a representative of the provincial Management Board for Civil and Industrial Construction Investment projects, these are key projects of the province to meet the requirements for provincial-level cultural facilities and institutions and ensure working facilities for many agencies and units, which received special attention by the investor and constructors to send experienced engineers and workers to work under strict supervision of the investor.
The investor will strive to complete the disbursement plan for the project building the Culture and Exhibition Center of Bac Giang province by 30 December 2024 and complete the disbursement plan in 2024 for the construction project of the new inter-agency building by 31 January 2025.
The quick construction and timely disbursement helps to soon bring the projects into use and improve the project efficiency.
