Maximum efforts made to fix problem at Cong Bun pumping station
BAC GIANG - Due to the impact of typhoon Yagi, the water level in the Thuong River has risen, causing a problem at the discharge basin of the Cong Bun pumping station in Bac Giang city. The province has mobilized maximum manpower and equipment to fix the issue under the direct supervision of Le Anh Duong, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.
On the afternoon of September 12, authorities discovered a problem at the discharge basin of the Cong Bun pumping station. Since the discharge basin is directly connected to the Thuong River, its breach could be as serious as a breach in the Thuong River dyke, leading to severe consequences.
