Miss Ngoc Han joins Bac Giang’s youth in walking for the poor

(BGO) – The Secretary Board of Youth Federation’s Committee in the northern province of Bac Giang cooperated with the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (Youth Union) to hold a walk event of “Youth for the community” on the morning of October 14 to call for donation to the youth and teenagers with special difficult circumstances in response to Action Month for the Poor in 2018.

The event welcomed Tu Minh Hai, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Miss Vietnam 2010 Ngoc Han; typical youth faces in the province such as silver winner of 2018 International Physics Olympiad Trinh Duy Hieu, champion of 2017 The Voice Kids Duong Ngoc Anh, gold medalist Ngo Van Quoc and silver medalist Le Thi Linh at 2016 Internation Ho Chi Minh city Open Marathon as well as thousands of local senior and junior students and youth members.

At the event, Nguy Van Tuyen, Secretary of the local Youth Union, Chairman of the local Youth Federation appealed to all youth members to respond to the Action Month for the Poor. Also, 10 million VND (about 430 USD) was donated to support the disadvantaged children and people.

After the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman Tu Minh Hai, Miss Ngoc Han and youth members participated in the walk event for the community from Hoang Hoa Tham Park in Le Loi street passing Bang Ba Lan street to Bach Viet Lake Garden; propagandized environmental protection and called for donation to the poor.

Representatives of the provincial Youth Federation, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Miss Ngoc Han present the scholarship to Nguyen Van Bac in Dinh Ke ward, Bac Giang city.

The Young Enterneuprenue Association in the province took the occasion to present 86 million VND (about 3,700 USD) to repair humanitarian house and hand the scholarship to impoverished students while the provincial Youth Federation granted 1 scholarship worth 5 million VND (215 USD) to orphan Nguyen Van Bac (born 2006) in Dinh Ke ward (Bac Giang city).

City: Over 5,000 walk for AO victims, people with disabilities

A charity walk was held in Ho Chi Minh City on August 5 with the participation of more than 5,000 people to raise funds for Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin victims and people with disabilities.
