At Dong Viet commune, local leaders reported on the situation after the merger of three communes of old Dong Viet, Dong Phuc and Duc Giang. The commune has arranged working offices, held meetings as guided and informed residents about the new commune headquarters and administrative service center.

The Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phan The Tuan urged the commune government to stabilise operations immediately, ensuring land clearance for industrial parks is carried out properly without complications. He asked local leaders to plan suitable long-term office locations and ensure traffic safety once Dong Viet bridge is completed.

The Party Secretary Nguyen Van Gau praised the proactive spirit of Dong Viet officials in the early days after administrative restructuring. He urged continued unity and exemplary leadership to fulfil tasks effectively, focusing on disaster prevention, citizen reception, resolving complaints reasonably, and maintaining security and order.

He emphasised that commune leaders should frankly report difficulties for timely support from higher levels and assigned the Department of Science and Technology to review province-wide IT infrastructure issues and propose solutions.

At Yen Dung ward, after hearing reports, the Party Chief appreciated local efforts to stabilise the organisational structure post-merger and identify priorities in Party building, socio-economic development and security.

He noted Yen Dung’s potential in industrial, urban, and service development, urging stronger communication of Party and State policies to cadres and residents to foster consensus.

As a central ward, it must handle administrative procedures promptly with clear assignment of responsibility, while building unity and working towards better public service.

Earlier, the delegation inspected Dong Viet bridge project. The provincial leader asked the investor to accelerate remaining works to put the bridge into operation soon, promoting the project’s investment efficiency, regional connectivity and Bac Ninh’s socio-economic development.
