At the meeting, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong warmly welcomed the delegation to Bac Giang province. Besides, he briefed the guests on the natural, economic and cultural conditions of the province and the close relationship between Bac Giang province and localities of Laos in recent years.

Bac Giang and Laos’ Xaysomboun province signed a cooperation agreement in the period from 2021 to 2025 including cooperation in home affairs sector. This is a highlight in the relations between both localities, contributing to the close relations of the 2 countries.

At this visit, the delegation of Lao Ministry of Home Affairs worked on implementation of fiscal autonomy of public non-business units, public official management and policy implementation for public officials. The PPC Chairman urged both sides to openly discuss and share experience to learn good methods and useful solutions to promote efficiency of self-reliant public non-business units.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nisith Keopanya congratulated on the achievements gained by Bac Giang province and expressed his thanks for the attention of the province to the delegation.
