Promoting cooperation in human resource training to meet production demands

Updated: 14:38, 06/05/2026

BAC NINH - Recently, vocational training facilities in northern province of Bac Ninh have promoted cooperation with enterprises in vocational training programmes under commissioned agreements, ensuring job opportunities for students after graduation. This is a strategic measure to improve human resource quality, especially in smart manufacturing, supply chain and technology services.

Adapting to real working environment

As the labour market is more demanding for practical skills, industrial working style and ability to quickly adapt to real-world working environment, vocational training institutions in the province have proactively opened “doors” to connect to businesses.

In innovating training methods by shifting from theory-based teaching to practice-orientated training and building curricula based on labour market demand, the College of Industrial Technologies (in Bac Giang ward) has strengthened cooperation with big enterprises and foreign direct investment companies, whom they considered as “strategic partners” in human resource training.

“The college has signed agreements with more than 100 big corporations like Honda, Toyota, Samsung, Foxconn and Yazaki in training, scientific research, practicing, internship and proving jobs for students. Students are equipped with necessary soft skills such as communication, job interviews, teamwork and personal finance management, giving favourable conditions for students to join labour market”, said Vice Rector Than Van Hung.

Vocational training facilities have cooperated with businesses and boosted application of digital technology in training, established virtual recruitment management systems, launched digital platforms to link students with enterprises and digitalized student data.

In cooperation with vocational training facilities, enterprises involve in building training curriculum and establishing learning outcomes, while assigning experts and engineers to directly teach and provide hands-on training.

Students are given opportunities to undertake internships in workshops equipped with modern production lines. As a result, they can develop industrial working styles and job-specific skills aligned with actual job requirements.

Beyond the training phase, many institutions also sign order-based labour supply contracts, enabling graduates to secure employment immediately upon graduation, while enterprises can recruit suitably skilled workers and reduce retraining costs.

Sustainable cooperation to develop long-term human resources

Many enterprises want to build sustainable cooperation with vocational training facilities in the province to both quickly recruit workers and develop stable human resources.

Letuin Edu Vietnam Company Limited has signed a training contract with the Vietnam-Korea College of Technology.

Under this cooperation programme, students are enabled to approach latest training cirricula with increased practicing time, closely aligning with production processes of the company in accordance with Korean technology standards and training models.

Besides, they provide direct training for selected trainees in production management positions in the company with scholarships and internship allowances. Upon graduation, they are recruited to work for the company without a probationary period.

Currently, several enterprises investing in the province have been deeply involved in the training process from building training cirriculum and organizing internship to recruitment and employment.

Besides, they are committed to accompanying vocational schools to estabish training models based on their labour demand.

The linkage between vocational training institutions and enterprises brings mutual benefits for both sides.

When this partnership becomes strong and sustainable, Bac Ninh province not only attracts labour-intensive investment projects but also gains the capacity to select and screen projects with higher technological content and added conforming to its sustainable development orientation.
