Besides, implementing the movement to preserve and supplement school books for school libraries since July 2022, the whole educational sector has called on donation of nearly 10,000 books. From the donated source, apart from adding more shared books for the library, the schools arranged sets of sufficient books then gifted to disadvantaged students in the province.

Representative of provincial Labour Confederation hands over gift to disadvantaged students with good academic result.

The Labour Federation in Son Dong district cooperated with the Trade Union of Fuyu Precision Technology Company Limited (Fuyu) in Quang Chau industrial park to launch “Enjoying Mid-Autumn Festival – Presenting affection” programme.

The Labour Federation mobilized the trade union fund to hand over 8 scholarships to children of disadvantaged workers, public servants and labours with high academic result in the area, each worth one million VND.

Fuyu’s Trade Union also presented 35 scholarships and 200 sets of Mid-Autumn gifts to orphan, children of poor and special disadvantaged families in Son Dong district. Total value of the gift was 75 million VND which was mobilized from trade union fund and donation.

On the Moon festival, Bao Ngoc Aerobic Center in Bac Giang city presents more than 5,000 gifts of studying tool and toys for children from September 1 – 15. Apart from presenting gifts in the office at No.309-313 Nguyen Thi Luu street, the Center also visited and gifted children patients under treatment at provincial Obsteric and Pediatric hospital and Traditional Medical Hospital as well as launched Mid-autumn event to hand over art scholarship and study tool for members of Blue Star Club which is specialized at nurturing young talents.
