Dinh Thi Huong (born in 1998) in Moi hamlet, Phuc Thang commune on June 26 was hospitalized for birth delivery at Obstetrics Department of the district General Hospital. After giving birth to her baby, Huong was shocked due to maternal hemorrhage, leading to a serious risk to her life.
At that time, the patient lost a large amount of type B blood that was at a severe shortage in the hospital. Facing the urgent circumstance, the hospital conducted many specialized techniques and promptly mobilize their staff who have type B blood for an emergency donation.
Nurse Hoang Van Phat in the Infectious Internal Department and physician Pham Van Tuan in the Medical Station of An Chau town voluntarily donated their blood to timely save the life of patient Dinh Thi Huong.
