In addition to traditional flowers, fruits, and ornamental plants, this year's market has recorded new products with unique, strange and compact shapes that attract many customers.

A typical example is the royal red grapefruit (grapefruit used to be offered to the King) garden of Truong Van Luu's family in Dong Tan village, Dong Hung commune (Luc Nam). Many years ago, Luu saw a strange grapefruit variety with eye-catching colors - royal red grapefruit - being bought by customers for worshipping at high prices. Not many gardeners grew this type, so he decided to rent land to grow more than 2 hectares of this variety.

After 3 years of active cultivation, the bright red grapefruits were sold at much higher prices than other grapefruit varieties currently on the market.

According to the garden owner, the royal red grapefruit is a high-class variety. When the fruit is ripe, the peel is bright red, symbolizing luck, so many customers buy it for worshipping, especially during the traditional New Year.

Along with the red grapefruit, this year, grapefruits shaped like the words "Phuc or fortune", "Loc or prosperity", "Tho or longevity" and "Tai or wealth" of Bang Thi Sau's family in Phi Le village, Quy Son commune (Luc Ngan) have lured many customers.

In addition, there are many strange and unique flowers that attract customers even though their price is higher than normal products.

With elegant beauty, both color and light fragrance, beautiful, luxurious and charming magnolia flowers (woody, shady, perennial species originating from Europe, flowers have many colors, easy to grow and have been grown in Vietnam) or Apollo orchids (imported) are being sought after by many customers.

Customers are delighted with many new orchid species on sale on Le Loi Street (Bac Giang City).

Currently, the selling price of each magnolia branch is quite high, the small branch is less than 1 million VND, the high one can be several million to several tens of million VND depending on the branch but there are not many products for sale.

Besides, various types of flowers like Cam Tu, Tuyet Mai, Japanese Sakura peach, Huyen peach, other orchid species also attract many buyers.

Tet is approaching, flower and fruit growers as well as many other seasonal workers hope that the weather in the coming days will be favorable so that the products from the hard-working and creative hands of the people will have a good price; people everywhere will have more conditions to welcome spring and enjoy Tet to the fullest.
