Thailand, Vietnam among top Asian destinations for Chinese tourists this summer
Japan has been the most popular Asian destination for Chinese tourists this summer followed by Thailand and South Korea, flight ticket data from aviation analytics firm Cirium reveals.
They were followed in that order by Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Macau, the company said.
Due to the economic slowdown in their country, Chinese tourists are seeking budget-friendly destinations with easy entry, it explained.

Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia have seen a surge in Chinese arrivals in recent months thanks to their visa exemption.
