Tightening Covid-19 preventive measure when more visitors flock to Tay Yen Tu

(BGO) – In the first half of the 4 day holiday of Reunification (30 April) and International Labour Day (May 1), good weather condition inspired many more visitors to Tay Yen Tu Spiritual and Ecotourism site (Tay Yen Tu Tourism Complex) in Son Dong district (Bac Giang province). The local authorities have tightened Covid-19 preventive measures to ensure the safety for tourists.     

Any visitor coming from the pandemic hit areas as announced by the Health Ministry is not allowed to enter the tourism site while people with cough and fever symptoms are taken to medical isolation area.

According to Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Operation Director of Tay Yen Tu Tourism Complex, there were nearly 2,000 visitors coming to the destination from April 30 to the noon of May 1, doubling the figure of the last weekend and four fold increasing to week days.

50 percent of the visitors to Tay Yen Tu Tourism Complex bought cable car ticket to Thuong pagoda while the remaining ones visited the square, flower garden and Ha pagoda. Apart from tourists in province, many groups of young people and families from the provinces of Lang Son, Nghe An and Hanoi city visited to experience the destination.

To well serve the visitors, the Management Board of the tourism complex arranged 15 electric cars and 30 cabins of cable car; coordinated with the Medical Center in Tay Yen Tu town to establish a disease control station at the entrance gate.

Besides, the Management Board also installed slogans about disease preventive measures and provided free sanitizers and face masks to visitors at the car station, ticket office, cable car station, Ha pagoda campus and square.

Visitors at Dong Cao Plateau.

Together with Tay Yen Tu Tourism Complex, about 1,000 visitors flocked to experience Dong Cao Plateau in Phuc Son commune and Khe Ro Natural Reserve in An Lac commune (Son Dong district) in April 30 and May 1. 

To ensure the safety for visitors, the People’s Committee in Son Dong district instructed Phuc Son and An Lac communes to reinforce the Public Security force and youth members to communicate and remind visitors to follow the disease preventive measures as well as raise the awareness of environmental protection.
