Bac Giang to organize second vaccination against Covid-19 from April 17

(BGO) – From the second vaccine batch provided by the Health Ministry, the Health Department in Bac Giang province distributed to 23 units of medical centers at provincial and district levels as well as 10 districts and city. Luc Ngan district received the most doses (1,704 doses) while other districts and city were provided about 1,080 to 1,620 doses.

Vaccination priority is continuously given to the frontline forces in disease prevention such as health workers, members of Steering Committee in disease prevention at all levels, people working at isolation sites or those in charge of tracing the disease factors, volunteers, reporters...as regulated at Government’s Resolution No.21 about buying and using Covid-19 vaccine.

Health worker arranges Covid-19 vaccine into storage cabinet at the provincial Center of Disease Prevention.

The provincial Center of Disease Control received 13,000 AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine doses in second period. As schedule, the Health Department will instruct to organize vaccination at the medical facilities at province and district levels from April 17 – 25, at commune, ward and town from April 26 – 29 and all remaining ones in all injection points in the province from May 2 – 10.

3,484 local health workers and people in charge of disease prevention were given the first shot against Covid-19 in the first period.
