Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh urges removal of bottlenecks to facilitate investment projects
BAC NINH - Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Pham Van Thinh on February 23 called on relevant departments and local authorities to remove obstacles and create favorable conditions for enterprises implementing investment projects during working sessions with CPT Group JSC in Hiep Hoa commune and Bac Giang International Logistics Co., Ltd. in Tien Phong ward.
CPT Group JSC is the investor of the “Mechanical Products Manufacturing Complex” project in Chung and Cham hamlets, Hiep Hoa commune, with total investment of more than 528 billion VND (over 20.1 million USD).

The project focuses on manufacturing and fabricating pre-engineered steel frames, industrial steel structures, technical infrastructure steel structures, as well as forging, stamping, pressing, rolling and mechanical processing.
Under the approved master plan, the project requires 9.85 hectares of land. To date, 7.58 hectares have been cleared, with legal procedures completed and construction underway on the leased land.
Hiep Hoa commune is continuing site clearance for the remaining area. The investor aims to complete construction, finalize acceptance procedures and put the plant into operation by April 2028.

At a separate meeting with Bac Giang International Logistics Co., Ltd., company representatives reported that the Bac Giang International Logistics Center is planned on 67 hectares with total investment of nearly 4.2 trillion VND (over 160.5 million USD).
The project includes multi-functional warehouses, bonded warehouses, customs-supervised warehouses, e-commerce warehouses and automated storage facilities, integrated with end-to-end logistics solutions and modern hub models such as a one-stop e-commerce hub and an import-export agricultural products hub.
The company has completed construction of five warehouses and is accelerating work on the remaining facilities. In 2026, it plans to finalize 100% of technical infrastructure and newly built warehouses, complete acceptance procedures for all phase-one items and break ground on phase-two components.
The firm will also officially put into operation a bonded warehouse, a centralized customs inspection site for express delivery goods, EPE warehouses, general warehouses and office, commercial and service areas.
The company proposed that the provincial People’s Committee and relevant departments continue to provide guidance and support to help the project be completed and put into operation soon, maximizing its economic efficiency.

After conducting on-site inspections and listening to reports from both enterprises, the PPC Vice Chairman urged provincial departments and local authorities to closely coordinate in addressing administrative procedures and supporting investors to accelerate project implementation.
He called for speeding up site clearance for CPT Group’s project and requested relevant agencies to study and work with the Ministry of Construction on connecting a rest stop and the Bac Giang International Logistics Center to the expressway network, facilitating more effective project operations.
