Following the recovery momentum of 2022, in the first half of 2023, Vietnam's tourism industry recorded optimistic signals, as it welcomed nearly 5.6 million international visitors, reaching 70% of the whole year’s plan. Many markets have recovered beyond 2019 levels. Domestic tourists reached 64 million. Total revenue from tourists reached 343 trillion VND.
