Updated: 10:58, 17/03/2026

For the entire year, VinFast delivered 196,919 electric cars, a surge of 102% compared with 2024.

Vietnam’s electric vehicle (EV) maker VinFast has posted record revenue and EV deliveries in 2025, marking its strongest performance since its establishment, driven by strong global demand for its EVs and rapid expansion across key markets.

According to the company’s unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2025 released on March 16, the firm delivered 86,557 electric cars in Q4 alone, up 127% from the previous quarter and 63% year-on-year. Vehicles under the Green brand and the EC Van accounted for about 49% of total deliveries during the period.

International markets continued to post solid growth, representing approximately 18% of total global deliveries, reflecting rising demand for VinFast’s EV models in several regions worldwide.

For the entire year, VinFast delivered 196,919 electric cars, a surge of 102% compared with 2024. The result exceeded the target of at least doubling deliveries from the previous year, representing the highest annual delivery volume in VinFast’s history.

The company also reported strong growth in its electric motorbike and e-bike segment, with 171,962 units being delivered in Q4 of 2025, up 43% from the previous quarter and 452% year-on-year. For the full year, total deliveries reached 406,498 units, representing a 473% increase compared with 2024.

Revenue growth remained robust throughout 2025. In Q4 alone, total revenue hit 39.41 trillion VND (nearly 1.57 billion USD), soaring 138.9% year-on-year and 117.7% from the previous quarter. For the full year, revenue totalled 90.43 trillion VND (around 3.6 billion USD), an increase of 105.4% compared with 2024.

Alongside rising revenue, VinFast also reported improvements in its gross margin, reflecting the efficiency of scaling up production and optimising operational costs.

As of December 31, 2025, VinFast had expanded its global retail network to 424 showrooms worldwide, enabling customers in many markets to access and purchase its EVs more easily.

Le Thi Thu Thuy, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of VinFast, said 2025 marked a key milestone for the company as it maintained disciplined investments to accelerate the transition toward electric mobility and make green transportation more accessible.

Alongside business growth, VinFast has continued refining its product strategy with three automotive brands – VF, Green, and Lac Hong.

VinFast has also made notable progress in several key markets. In Vietnam, the company maintained its leading position in the domestic automobile market, with an estimated 36% market share in 2025, up significantly from about 22% in 2024.

In international markets such as India, Indonesia, and the Philippines, VinFast has expanded its presence through dealership networks, service centres and strategic partners.

The firm has strengthened its manufacturing capacity with four global factories in Vietnam, Indonesia and India, with a combined maximum capacity of around 600,000 EV units per year, supporting its long-term strategy to scale up production, optimise costs and step up its long-term development strategy.
