BAC GIANG – The Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee (PPC) has recently held a meeting to commend and reward two 12th grader from Bac Giang High School for the Gifted who just won medals at the 2024 Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO), namely Than The Cong with a gold medal and Truong Phi Hung with a bronze medal.

BAC GIANG - After 6 days of competition with exciting and dramatic matches, the 2024 Badminton Championship, Donex Cup wrapped up on June 16 at Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Bac Giang team won 4 medals, including 1 Gold Medal.

BAC GIANG - Fresh lychees from Luc Ngan district, the northern province of Bac Giang, continue to be sold at the supermarket chain of Gourmet Market and shopping malls belonging to Thailand’s The Mall Group this year. This is the second year in a row, the Bac Giang lychees have been sold at major supermarkets in Bangkok.

BAC GIANG - The National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation held a ceremony in Hanoi on June 15 to honour 100 outstanding blood donors in 2024, including one individual from Bac Giang province - Than Quang Phong born in 1987, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Hong Thai ward (Viet Yen township).

BAC GIANG – According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, for the first 6 months of this year, Bac Giang has attracted nearly 1.8 million tourist arrivals, up more than 38% over the same period last year, including nearly 15,000 international visitors. Total revenue from tourism business activities is estimated at 995 billion VND (42.2 million USD), an increase of 44.2%.
