‘I love my Fatherland’ 2020 journey to be launched on National Reunification Day

The ‘I love my Fatherland’ 2020 journey, the second edition of its kind, will be launched on the 45th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day on April 30, 2020.

Held by the Vietnam Youth Federation, the programme will focus on expressing the gratitude of the youth to generations of ascendants who contributed to bringing peace and independence to the nation while arousing the love for the Fatherland through activities in support of the community and national development.

An activity held under the framework of the ‘I love my Fatherland’ 2019 journey.

This year’s journey will be organised across historical and revolutionary sites in localities across the country and is divided into four stages.

The first stage of the journey entitled ‘Thank the Fatherland’ will be held from April 30 to May 15 while the second stage is slated for May 15 to June 30 entitled ‘The young follow Uncle Ho’s teachings’.

The journey will enter its third stage from July 1-31 under the theme ‘Gratitude July’ and the last stage from August 1 to the National Day on September 2 with the theme ‘Proud of Vietnam’.

Besides meaningful and practical activities, the journey will also feature many activities promoted via social networks.

Participants in the journey are expected to share stories of good people, good deeds and role models in various areas in addition to the culture and tradition of Vietnam to spread pride in the people and land of Vietnam.

Youths nationwide respond to Youth Month 2020
A wide variety of practical activities were held nationwide in response to Youth Month 2020, looking towards the 89th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931-2020).

(BGO) – After selection and judge, 82 out of more than 200 outstanding youth union officials and members nationwide were honored to receive Ly Tu Trong award in 2020. Duong Van Thang (born in 1985), Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) in Cam Ly High School (Luc Nam district) is the only one face in Bac Giang province to receive the award.
