The Judges’ Council has marked and selected 18 outstanding products in various fields of handicraft; beverage, agro-forestry-fishery processing; equipment, machinery, mechanical device and tool.

The products include art furniture, Da Mai dried vermicelli, Ke rice cracker (Bac Giang city); colour ceramic painting, Tri Yen soy sauce (Yen Dung district); Xuan Truong Chu rice noodle, Green Chu rice noodle (Luc Ngan district); chicken paste, Loc Son corn wine fermented by leaves, Solanum procumbens tea (Yen The district); yellow flower tea (Luc Nam district); wild honey in Tay Yen Tu forest (Son Dong district); trolley, Ong Phu waffle, Giap Tuu wine, rice sheet (Tan Yen district); ham and source under VietGAP standard (Hiep Hoa district); brown rice cracker with roasted sesame (Viet Yen district).

This year, many registered products have eye catching package, label as well as traceability stamp.

The recognition of typical rural industrial products aims to discover and introduce the quality products with high usage value and potential to expand the production and market to meet the customers’ demand in and outside the country so as to support in production and trade promotion to boost the development of rural industry.

The award ceremony will be held on this October.

The index of industrial production (IIP) in the first eight months of 2019 rose 9.5% compared with the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office.
