2026 Northern Industry and Trade Fair kicked off in Bac Ninh
BAC NINH- The provincial People’s Committee (PPC) of Bac Ninh province in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade held an opening ceremony of the 2026 Northern Industry and Trade Fair on September 16 at the provincial Culture and Tourism Promotion Center (in southern urban area, Bac Giang ward).
The opening ceremony was attended by PPC Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Farmers’ Union Nguyen Xuan Dinh, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (under the Ministry of Industry and Trade) Hoang Minh Chien and representatives of some units and localities.

Speaking at the event, Vice Director of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Van Phuong stressed the 2026 Northern Industry and Trade Fair was kicked off in the festive atmosphere when the Party Committee, government and people of Bac Ninh province are preparing for the announcement ceremony of the establishment of Bac Ninh centrally governed city.

This year trade fair features more than 220 booths with participation of over 200 organizations and businesses arranged in several specialized exhibition corners including the industry and trade of northern provinces, OCOP products, typical products of enterprises in Bac Ninh and other provinces and cities, traditional handicraft products, general trade and tourism and regional cuisine.

Besides, there are over 30 booths organised by the provincial Farmers’ Association.
After the opening ceremony, the delegates visited the booths showcasing signature products. The trade fair will take place from 16 until the end of 22 September 2026.
