25 books to be honoured in fourth National Book Awards

Twenty-five outstanding books are scheduled to be honoured in the fourth National Book Awards 2021 at a ceremony to be held in Hanoi on October 12.
The information was released by the Vietnam Publishing Association.
Two A prizes, nine B prizes, and 14 C prizes are to be presented at the ceremony.

Despite the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, organisers received the participation of 47 publishing houses nationwide with 365 titles, covering areas such as politics and economics; natural science and technology; social sciences and humanities; culture, literature and arts; and children.
The awards aim to continue encouraging book writers, editors, publishers, and printing and distribution companies to keep creating quality publications.
The Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Health have introduced the first version of an e-handbook on Covid-19 prevention and control at covid19.mic.gov.vn.
The Kim Dong Publishing House has released a book named “Uncle Ho wrote the Declaration of Independence” by journalist Kieu Mai Son on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).
The national online book platform Book365 will offer huge discounts for readers across the country, particularly students and readers in remote areas to welcome the new school year.
On the occasion of the 110th birth anniversary of Vietnam's late Legendary General Vo Nguyen Giap (August 25, 1911 - August 25, 2021), Hanoi Publishing House published the book "103 photo stories about General Vo Nguyen Giap" by Journalist-Photographer Tran Tuan, a former VNA reporter who had the opportunity to accompany the General for 35 years, from 1976.
The Vietnam E-commerce White book 2021 was recently released by the Vietnam E-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency (IDEA) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
