As the result, three more communes were recognized as new style rural commune including Truong Giang, Luc Son and Vo Tranh in Luc Nam district. In accumulation, the province had 148 out of 182 new style rural communes, accounting for 81.3 percent.

One more commune was recognized as exemplary new style rural commune (Tuan Dao commune in Son Dong district), so the province had two exemplary new style rural communes.

Besides, 46 villages were qualified as exemplary new style rural villages, 29 in Viet Yen district, 6 in Lang Giang district, 5 in Yen The district, Yen Dung and Luc Ngan each had three recognized villages. In total, the province had 286 exemplary new style rural villages.

As schedule, by the end of this year, the province strives to have 6 more new style rural communes, 13 advanced new style rural, 9 exemplary new style rural communes and 47 exemplary new style rural villages.
