A talk show was held at the event to exchange with the outstanding representatives from the provincial Department of Public Security, the Party Committee of Viet Yen district and the Party Committee of the provincial Labor Confederation.

According to Captain Than Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Division for Drug Criminal Investigation (the provincial Department of Public Security), studying and following Uncle Ho, his team of officers and soldiers have effectively fulfilled the tasks of prevention and combating against drug crimes.

Since 2016, the unit has solved 59 crimes, detected and caught 164 cases with more than 280 people, seized 8,563 grams of heroine and some 18,000 grams of methamphetamine.

Doan Van Mat, Secretary of the Party Committee of Noi Ninh hamlet, Ninh Son commune, Viet Yen district has leaded the officials, party members and people of the hamlet to join hands building a standardized new-style rural area.

Do Thi Hien, leader of team 3, the Environment Group (Bac Giang Urban Project Management Joint Stock Company) has overcome difficulties to fulfill all assignments. She was honored to receive the “diamond broom” award by Vietnam Environment and Urban Magazine in 2018.

Over the past 3 years, more than 12,400 collectives and 439,000 individuals applied to do good deeds while over 600 pressing issues at district level and 5,500 problems at grassroots level were handled.

Addressing the meeting, Le Thi Thu Hong highly appreciated achievements of the outstanding collectives and individuals in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.

Besides, she required each collective and individual to proactively take part in the emulative movements with practical deeds and well fulfill the assigned duties.

On this occasion, the provincial People’s Committee awarded certificate of merit to 50 collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.

Also at this meeting, the provincial permanent Vice Chairman Lai Thanh Son launched the emulative movements and called the related agencies and units to carry out the Plan of the provincial Standing Party Committee with proper, safe and effective methods; thereby creating motive for emulation and boosting complete fulfillment of the political duties of the province and localities.

(BGO) – The Public Security Force (PSF) in the northern province of Bac Giang on May 8 held a ceremony at the Memorial Site of Uncle Ho’s 6 Teachings to the PSF in Nha Nam commune, Tan Yen district to report the achievements and honor 48 exemplary models in implementing the campaign of “Creating the manner of the public security officer: bravery, humanity and to the people”.
