The emulative cluster included the Women’s Union in the provinces of Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Bac Kan, Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Tuyen Quang. This year, the Women’s Union in Bac Giang province played the role of a head.

The festival aims to well executing the Governmental Proposal “Supporting start-up women in period 2017 - 2025” and accelerating the linkage, coordination, promotion and introduction of safe farm products.

The representatives discussed and shared the advantages, difficulties, invention, experience and supporting solution in trade promoting activities, supply-demand connection, market expansion, policy and incentive to enterprises and cooperatives among others.

The agencies ink the memorandum of understanding within the trade promotion activities.

Addressing the event, Vice Chairwoman of Vienam Women’s Union Nguyen Thi Tuyet and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Duong Van Thai honored and acknowledged the creative method of Bac Giang provincial Women’s Union while highly appreciating the role, responsibility and result of the Women’s Association of all levels.

It helped inspire and encourage to promote women’s creative start-up spirit in the integration. The suggested ideas were the open orientation for the business, cooperative and producer to link to each other to bring the best efficiency in trade promotion activities, especially the product consumption.

The leaders believed and hoped that the Women’s Unions in the provinces will further promote the role in implementing the Proposal “Supporting start-up women in period 2017 - 2025”, particularly linking, promoting trade and products made by women.

The Festival featured various activities such as introducing and exhibiting 18 booths of 18 agencies; signing in the memorandum of understanding of the Women’s Unions in 7 Northern midland and mountainous provinces about trade promotion, the memorandum of understanding of Bac Giang provincial Women’s Union and the enterprises to hand over the startup support capital to the models of cooperatives, cooperative groups and linkage groups in the province.

Contest promotes tourism startup, innovation

The Vietnam Youth Union’s Supporting Centre for Youth’s Startup in collaboration with the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam organised the Startup Hunt contest from July 5 to August 29 to promote startup and innovation in tourism.
