1,843 samples taken for testing proved negative to SARS-CoV-2 virus, including 1,759 samples from local residents and 84 samples from the people on duty of disease prevention and control in the localities.

All residents at isolated area of Son Dong district (Bac Giang province) test negative to SARS-CoV-2.

The samples were taken on August 12-13 in Yen Dinh commune, 7 days after 2 first Covid-19 patients were detected so as to thoroughly screen the suspected cases.

As of August 16, Son Dong district had 54 F1 cases, 855 F2 cases and 2,131 F3 cases relating to 6 Covid-19 patients in Dong Chu village, Yen Dinh commune. The samples of F1 and F2 cases were taken previously and also tested negative.

6 patients who are now in stable health condition with disease factor under control have stable vital signs without any lung injury on CT scan.
