With an annual budget of AUD 300,000 (US$ 220,320), DAP is a competitive and flexible small grants programme funded by the Australian government’s aid budget. It works with local communities in developing countries through projects that reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development consistent with Australia’s national interests.
DAP projects cover education, health, water and sanitation, environmental protection, women’s empowerment and gender equality, supporting people with disabilities, economic livelihoods, food security and human rights.
