Autumn Fair 2025 on track for timely launch: official

Updated: 10:16, 09/10/2025

The fair, expected to take place from October 20 to November 5, aims to serve as a major platform for promoting trade, investment, and consumption, as well as strengthening commercial, industrial, agricultural, and service linkages. It is also expected to stimulate domestic production and import-export activities.

The Autumn Fair 2025 will take place as scheduled this October under the close direction of the Prime Minister, an official from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) confirmed at the ministry’s third-quarter press conference on October 8.

The Autumn Fair 2025 will take place at the Vietnam Exposition Centre in Hanoi's Dong Anh commune this month.

Deputy Director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency Le Hoang Tai said that on September 25, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued an official dispatch instructing the organisation of the fair, assigning the MoIT to take the lead in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vingroup, the Vietnam Exposition Centre, and relevant ministries, agencies, and localities.

The fair, expected to take place from October 20 to November 5, aims to serve as a major platform for promoting trade, investment, and consumption, as well as strengthening commercial, industrial, agricultural, and service linkages.

It is also expected to stimulate domestic production and import-export activities.

Tai noted that although the preparation time is short, the ministry has been working urgently with relevant ministries, sectors, and localities, including the Hanoi People’s Committee, to ensure that all assigned tasks are completed on schedule. Most of the key organisational tasks have now been fulfilled.

The Autumn Fair 2025 will feature ten exhibition halls with around 3,000 standard booths, welcoming the participation of enterprises, organisations, and cooperatives from both Vietnam and abroad.

The fair will be divided into five main zones, directly overseen by the MoIT, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Hanoi authorities.

Later on October 8, a delegation from the Government and the MoIT, accompanied by the Trade Promotion Agency, conducted an on-site inspection to accelerate final preparations.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan emphasised that the Prime Minister has assigned clear responsibilities to all ministries, localities, and media agencies involved.

The MoIT has proposed the establishment of the Steering Committee and Organising Committee for the Autumn Fair 2025 to ensure smooth implementation.

“This is not only a trade promotion event but also one of significant political importance, following the success of the exhibition showcasing 80 years of national achievements,” Tan said.
