The provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, municipal People’s Committee of
Bac Giang city and Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism collaborated with Seo-gu
district, Daejeon International Marketing Enterprise and a number of
hospitals and medical institutions from Bac Giang and Daejeon city to organize
a promotional conference on medical tourism called HEALING SONG 2018 on November 7.

So far, Bac Giang province has nurtured good relationships with the agencies, organizations and enterprises of the Republic of Korea (RoK), thereby receiving practical attention from Korean partners for its development.

Particularly, Seo-gu district and Bac Giang city has boosted the exchange activities tending to establish the twin-town relationship since 2017. This event is a further step in seeking projects in the medical sector, which plays as a bridge for a cooperative relationship between the two localities and among hospitals, medical institutions and tourism firms as well.
At the conference, the Korean specialists briefed the participants the advanced and modern medical services, specialized hospitals of Seo-gu district, the projects on medical tourism and types of beauty surgery by traditional medical methods. Besides, some hospitals from Bac Giang city introduced some practical medical services to the RoK’s partners.

Yen Dung sends labourers back to RoK market
(BGO) – As of early 2017, Yen Dung district in Bac Giang province had 119 illegal workers in the Republic of Korea (RoK). The RoK government stopped receiving the district’s laborers to work in the country under contracts. Over the past year, with the efforts of the whole political system and the active response of people, Yen Dung district has had the RoK ban removed.
Bac Giang expects RoK enterprises to invest in agricultural processing projects
(BGO) - On August 25, Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Linh had a working session with a delegation from the Republic of Korea (RoK) who came to Bac Giang to explore areas for investment attraction and visit some local industrial zones. Representatives from the provincial Departments of External Affairs, Planning and Investment, and Industry and Trade, and the provincial Management Board of Industrial Zones were also present at the event.
