Bac Giang earns over 6.7 trillion VND from lychee and utility service
In 2022 season, the province grew 28,300 ha of lychee with total productivity of over 199,500 tonnes, down over 16,200 tonnes year on year but up nearly 20,000 tonnes comparing to the estimation.

The early ripening lychee yielded over 61,000 tonnes, up more than 2,200 tonnes against 2021 season while the main season lychee hit over 138,500 tonnes, down over 18,500 tonnes. About 80,000 tonnes of lychees were exported, making up 38.07 percent of total output.
The special fruit was sold at average price of 22,100 VND per kg that helped bring back revenue of over 6.78 trillion VND (289.6 million USD) together with supporting services (over 4.41 trillion VND from lychee).
The export turnover reached 115.9 million USD, accounting for 94.13 percent comparing to 2021 figure in which 15.4 million USD came from lychee export and the remaining amount from utilities.
This year, Bac Giang enjoyed a bumper lychee harvest and smooth consumption.
