Bac Giang expands largest industrial park
Accordingly, about 67 hectares of the expanded area will be used to build factories and warehouses, 11.6 hectares for trees and water surface, 9 hectares for traffic and the remaining 2.5 hectares for technical infrastructure.

Previously at the end of last year, the Prime Minister approved for scaling up this IP with a total investment of nearly 1,000 billion VND (over 43 million USD).
Established in 2006, Quang Chau is one of the first and largest IP in Bac Giang province with an area of more than 420 hectares. The investor of this IP is Saigon - Bac Giang Industrial Park Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation. Dang Thanh Tam's company also develops many other IP such as Que Vo (Bac Ninh province), Trang Due (Hai Phong province)...
Quang Chau IP is 35 km away from Hanoi, about 120 km away from Hai Phong port and 105 km from Huu Nghi border gate (Lang Son province). The existing area is fully occupied by more than 40 projects with a total investment of 2.8 billion USD, including 37 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects. Some 67,000 workers are working in this IP.
Some big enterprises are operating in Quang Chau IP such as Luxshare-ICT and JA Solar. Last year, Foxconn Technology Group which is an assembly partner of Apple also signed a memorandum of understanding with Kinh Bac's subsidiary to lease about 50 hectares of land in the expanded area.
The province has recently approved for a resolution on the planning project of 5 IP on total area of over 1,100 hectares.
They include Duc Giang IP with a scale of 287 hectares (Yen Dung district), second phase of expanded Hoa Phu IP with a scale of 222 hectares (Hiep Hoa district), Nghia Hung IP with a scale of 152 hectares (Lang Giang district), Tien Son - Ninh Son IP (Viet Yen district) and Xuan Cam - Huong Lam IP (Hiep Hoa district).
Bac Giang is one of the localities with vibrant real estate for recent 3-4 years along with the wave of IP development.
