(BGO) – Implementing
duo task of Covid-19 prevention and control and effective production and
consumption of farm produce, the People’s Committee in Bac Giang province
assigned Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to coordinate to
Department of Health, Department of Industry and Trade to instruct the
districts and city to grant certificate of Covid-19 free lychee.
Accordingly, the certificate will have two pages, one of which is printed on bright red background, another is white with content confirming that the batch of lychee is safe from Covid-19 pandemic (lychee, preserving container, owner, driver and transport vehicle).

The certificate features following contents: Owner of the batch and driver with identification card, date of testing, negative test result to SARS -CoV2, origin of the batch, quantity, preliminary processing and packing facilities, transport vehicle (noted: license plate and disinfectant spray).
The certificate is granted by the People’s Committee at district level with confirmation of district Division of Health and validity time.
Together with the above mentioned certificate, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development issued document to the People’s Committee in the districts and city to guide the implementation and order them to strictly control over the certificate as regulation.
The action helps localities to prevent and control the pandemic as well as produce and consume lychee more effectively.

190 Chinese traders immigrated to buy Bac Giang lychee
(BGO) – The Immigration Department (Ministry of Public
Security) has issued document to approve for 190 Chinese traders to enter
Vietnam and buy lychee in Bac Giang province. They will receive visa at
Friendship Border gate (Lang Son province).
Bac Giang lychees now available on Alibaba e-commerce platform
(BGO) - The Department of Industry and Trade of Bac
Giang province is coordinating with Alibaba.com’s agent in Vietnam to support
the Hung Thao Import-Export and Trading Company Limited (Luc Ngan district) to
put local lychees on sale on Alibaba.com e-commerce platform from May 17.
Lychee sale in 2021: Increasing online connections, expanding markets
(BGO) - This year,
lychees will be harvested amid the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic.
To deal with this situation, Bac Giang continues to promote the results
achieved in the lychee crop in 2020 and strengthen online connections to promote
consumption with many countries and territories, creating more opportunities
for lychees to be sold.
