(BGO) – According to the Department of Science and
Technology, Bac Giang province now has 1,340 applications registering for
commodity brand protection, 683 of which were granted with certificate of
protection by the National
Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam.
There included a geographical identification for Luc Ngan lychee; 4 certified brands for Yen The hill chicken, Hiep Hoa pomelo, Son Dong cellophane noodle and Yen The tea; 41 collective brands for Son Dong wild honey, Luc Nam chestnut, Da Mai vermicelli and cake, Da Mai safe vegetable, Bai Oi Carpentry (Dinh Tri), Chau Son rice noodle, Tan Yen clean pork, Tri Yen soya source, Yen Dung clean vegetable.... and 637 normal brands.

The signature products of Bac Giang are protected in both domestic and foreign markets such as the U.S, Australia, Republic of Korea, Japan, Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, China and others.
In general, the trademarks of potential, signature and provincial qualified products of the province have been created, helping increase the product values.
Tan Yen develops commodity guava production area

– Together with several famous fruits such as Phuc Hoa early ripen lychee, Hop
Duc star apple, the farmers in Tan Yen district, Bac Giang province have
recently developed the Taiwanese pear guava in large area. The actual
cultivation proved that the guava is ideally suited to the land, helping the
farmers earn high economic value.
Lang Giang boost agricultural production under value chain

second locality in Bac Giang province preparing conditions to announce itself
as a new-style rural district. Besides other criteria, the district is paying
attention to the implementation of the "Once Commune One Product” (OCOP)
programme.

resilience. The Deputy Director of Department of Agriculture and Rural
Department (DARD) in Bac Giang province Nguyen Viet Toan granted an interview
to Bac Giang Newspaper’s reporter about this issue.
