Bac Giang honors 82 outstanding public employees and workers
BAC GIANG – On May 14, the Trade Union of Bac Giang provincial Government Agencies held its first ceremony to honor exemplary officials, public employees and workers in 2025. The event was part of the province’s activities in response to Workers’ Month and to commemorate the 135th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh. The event was attended by Tran Ngoc Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee.
The trade union currently represents over 3,100 members across 29 grassroots-level unions. To fulfill its role in protecting the legal rights and interests of workers, the union has stepped up communication efforts, improved member awareness and regularly engaged with their needs and concerns.

It has also launched and organized patriotic emulation movements, particularly the “Skilled and Creative Labor” campaign, closely tied to the drive for building a public service workforce that is loyal, responsible, honest and innovative.
To ensure these movements are practical and effective, the trade union has guided grassroots organizations to align activities with their political tasks and specific job characteristics, fostering a sense of responsibility among officials and workers.

As a result, numerous individuals have stood out with scientific research, innovative solutions, and practical initiatives, contributing to the successful implementation of agency missions.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Secretary Tran Ngoc Minh emphasized the vital role of patriotic emulation in driving socio-economic development. He praised the trade union’s contributions and the efforts of public employees and workers, urging continued innovation in both form and content of union activities.
He called for deeper integration of these movements with the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle as well as with each agency’s political goals.

He also stressed the need for stronger advocacy to build consensus among workers in support of administrative reform and organizational streamlining.
Outstanding individuals and collectives should be promptly recognized through clear, specific criteria to encourage continuous learning and capacity building among members.
On this occasion, 82 individuals were honored by the Provincial Labor Federation and the Trade Union of the Provincial Government Agencies for their exemplary contributions in workplace movements.
