Bac Giang: Industrial parks attract 10 more foreign projects

(BGO) – The Industrial Park Management Board of Bac Giang province has granted investment licenses to 10 projects from the Republic of Korea and China since the beginning of this year, with a total registered capital of nearly 10.5 million USD and over 48.7 billion VND (2.1 million USD).

Some of the projects include Etech Vietnam Co. Ltd., Hong Sang Jae Company, CSL Vina Co. LTd., and Daehan Precision Vina Co. Ltd. The projects mainly focus on electronic components manufacturing and precision mechanics.
To date, as many as 285 projects have been operated in the province’s industrial parks, of which 181 were foreign-invested projects and 104 were domestic ones, with of combined registered capital of 3.3 billion USD and 7.3 trillion VND (321.3 million USD), respectively.
In 2016, Bac Giang province ranked 9th in the number of foreign-invested projects and 5th in the amount of registered capital.
