(BGO) – According to the Board of Ethnic in Bac Giang province,
from the capital source of National Target Programme for socio-economic
development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, the provincial People’s Committee
plans to mobilize nearly 313 billion VND (13.4 million USD) to renovate activities
and reinforce the boarding ethnic high schools, high schools with boarding
students and educational facilities for people living at ethnic minority areas from
now on till 2025.
From total capital of over 272 billion VND (94.3 billion VND from central budget and remaining amount from provincial and district budget), localities will invest to build, revamp and upgrade some items of the Boarding Ethnic High School in the province and districts of Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam and Yen The as well as the Boarding Ethnic High School in the communes of Son Hai, Ho Dap (Luc Ngan district), An Lac and Duong Huu (Son Dong district).

In addition to reinforce the facilities, in this period, the province will arrange nearly 41 billion VND from the Central budget to invest in equipment for educational digital transformation to serve online teaching and studying activities; foster and improve capability for managers and teachers at the educational establishment; open 60 illiteracy eradication classes; support school books, studying tools and necessities for illiteracy eradication.
