Bac Giang opens Covid booster vaccination campaign and focuses on solution to welcome Tet safely
For one week, 144 Covid-19 patients have been daily detected in the province, highly increasing than the figure last week. Since October 26, the province has found over 3,000 infected cases.

Thanks to high determination in leadership, instruction and synchronous implementation of various solutions of the Center and Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control at all levels, the disease clusters at the schools in Bac Giang city and industrial parks have been put under control.
More than 50 percent of 187,000 labours at 365 operation businesses in the industrial parks received third Covid-19 vaccine shot. The Industrial Park Management Board strives to raise this level up to 75 percent ahead of Lunar New Year holiday so as to increase the labours’ immunity.
Now, 44 percent of eligible students receive two vaccine shots while 40.5 percent of teachers are administered three jabs.

This year, the trade union at all levels arranged over 60 billion VND (2.6 million USD) to care for the biggest traditional holiday of the trade unionist with special difficulties.
Concluding the event, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong acknowledged the determination of organizations, agencies and localities to successfully contain the pandemic at the schools and industrial parks last week.
To improve the community immunity and ensure a safe Tet holiday for Bac Giang people, the provincial leader urged the localities and competent forces to open an urgent campaign to administer the third vaccine shot.
The districts and city were ordered to widely apply the method of home isolation and treatment to infected and suspected cases (F0 and F1). The F0 with no or mild symptom will be allowed to treat at home or suitable grassroots quarantine sites. The cases with medium or critical symptoms will be treated at district level treatment facilities. Only case with bad progress will be transferred to provincial level facility.
PPC Chairman informed that by January 10, the province will stop the operation of the Field Hospital No.2 to hand over the site to the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector for management. The centralized quarantine and treatment site must be immediately set up at the industrial park to ready to receive and treat infected and suspected workers.

The local enterprises must popularize the policies, disease preventive measures of the province ahead and after Tet holiday to the workers; call on them to stay at companies to enjoy Tet and continue working voluntarily. The trade union at all level should promote the role to cooperate with the companies to care for labours who live in faraway localities and stay at the industrial parks.
This year, the province halts firework display and festivals. However, the cultural sector and communication agencies were directed to renovate the communication method, create joy atmosphere for people to welcome the traditional Tet festival safely.
