Bac Giang photographers win big at international art photography contest

(BGO) - The 11th
International Art Photography Contest 2021 in Vietnam was launched by Vietnam
Association of Photographic Artists under the sponsor of International Federation of Photographic Art and Photographic Society of America and Borderless
Image Association from March 31 to July 31, drawing 1,518 photographers from
45 countries and territories with 16,924 entries.
The photography artists from Bac Giang province had 10 works entering the exhibition and awarding round, two of which won bronze medal and consolidation prizes. It is the best ever achievement gained by Bac Giang photography artists in such an international event.

Hanoi City Cultural Centre, under the municipal Department of Culture and Sports, recently launched a photo contest themed ‘Women with family and society’ to honour the beauty of Vietnamese women and raise public awareness on gender equality.
The terraced paddy field complex in Khe Tau Village, Phong Du Thuong Commune, Van Yen District in the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai has attracted the interest of both photographers and tourists.

A shot by Nguyen Phuoc Hoai of a fishing boat casting nets off the Phu Yen Province coast has won a merit award at the All About Photo Contest.
