With the motto "Fighting Covid-19 while ensuring professional duties and coordinating with the authorities to support and create favorable conditions for the people to develop production and business, striving with high determination to fulfill all tasks set for 2020”, the provincial Fatherland Front and its member organizations at all levels have regularly implemented the thrift practice and waste combat.

Nichirin Vietnam Co., Ltd. donates more than 200 million VND to Covid-19 fight.

They have promoted the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods"; encouraged people in the province to consume Vietnamese goods in order to turn difficulties into advantages for developing production in the country and the province.

Promoting its role and responsibilities in residential areas, the Front boards have actively set up communication teams, supervised the epidemic and monitored people returning from abroad as well as from provinces and cities recording infections. They have also warned and guided people how to prevent the disease and made them fully aware of risks.

In addition, the Front organisations at all levels have promptly reported good models as well as good, creative and effective practices in the implementation process, limitations, problems, difficulties and recommendations to the Standing Board of the the provincial Fatherland Front Committee for timely solutions.

Applying diverse and flexible methods in mobilisation, support

After consulting the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and reaching an agreement with the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, on March 18, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee launched "All people support Covid-19 prevention and control" in the province through the appeal of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee with the motto: Those who have money contribute money; Those who have assets donate assets; Those who have strength contribute strength; Those who have ideas contribute ideas.

After nearly half a month, hundreds of organizations, individuals, businesses, entrepreneurs and benefactors inside and outside the province, including those who are being adversely affected by the pandemic, as well as children and laborers who are facing many difficulties in life have donated cash, rice, vegetables, milk, noodles, and anti-epidemic equipment worth more than 15.5 billion VND (665,400 USD), including nearly 7 billion VND in cash.

Typically, the family of Chu Bao Que from Viet Yen district donated 2,800 raincoats, 3,000 medical gloves, 200 carton boxes of mineral water bottles, 20,000 masks, 100 bottles of disinfectant water, worth nearly 500 million VND in total. The family of Nguyen The Cuong, Chairman of Thach Ban Group, supported 500 million VND. Luxshare - ICT Co., Ltd. donated 200,000 antibacterial masks worth 2 billion VND while Hong Hai Group contributed 1.7 billion VND...

Everyone, every family join hands

In the coming days, the pandemic will still develop complicatedly, making people of all strata anxious and insecure. In this context, each front and mass mobilisation official and mass organization must be consistent in popularisation and mobilisation to help people of all classes have absolute confidence in the Party's leadership, the Government's determination and the current solutions of the Government and the Ministry of Health in the treatment of cases as well as epidemic prevention and control measures to be ready to deal with the worst scenarios.

The Front officials should join hands with the Party committees, authorities and people of all ethnic groups in the province to create a combined strength, both mentally and physically, to overcome the pandemic with the spirit “Every citizen is a pioneer soldier; Every commune, ward, township, residential area and household is a fortress for Covid-19 prevention and combat.”

Bac Giang Import-Export Joint Stock Company donates 50 million VND worth of tissues, wipes and toilet paper to prevent and control Covid-19.

In the coming time, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control under the provincial Fatherland Front Committee hopes to continue receiving the attention and sharing of all organizations and individuals inside and outside the province to join hands for a Bac Giang of solidarity and safety that is ready to win the pandemic.
