With this result, Bac Giang’s export turnover ranked 6th in Vietnam, among top 8 localities with export turnover from 10 USD including Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Ninh, Binh Duong, Thai Nguyen, Hai Phong, Bac Giang, Dong Nai and Hanoi.

Remarkably, Bac Giang jumped 1 place compared to the same period in 2022 (ranking 7th nationwide) and surpassed Dong Nai province in export value. The notable result has been gained thanks to recovery of many enterprises in Bac Giang since the second quarter with high growth and strong breakthroughs, especially enterprises in the industrial parks (IPs).

Several enterprises in the IPs have recruited a large number of workers for the new orders such as Hon Hai (Foxconn)Technology Group, Hosiden Company Limited, Fuyu Company Limited and Luxshare Company Limited.

Currently, about 200,000 workers are working in the IPs in the province to serve the high employment demand, even higher than the period before Covid-19 pandemic.

Many enterprises continue recruiting workers for expansion of new production chains and factories to increase productivity to supply their partners.

The export turnover of enterprises in the IPs reached over 1.8 billion USD in July and the value was remained in August, according to the Customs Sub-department in charge of IPs in Bac Giang province.

With the recovery momentum of the enterprises in line with solutions to support and remove obstacles by the provincial government, Bac Giang’s export turnover is expected to highly increase in the last months this year.
